The purpose of the Coahoma Community College Alumni Association is to promote the
welfare of Coahoma Community College and establish a mutually beneficial relationship
between Coahoma Community College and its Alumni. The Association shall encourage
and promote professional guidance through the advisement of students at Coahoma Community
College through chapter organization, support, and the leadership development.
Monies for the National Alumni Association are collected throughout the year and at
the national meeting held in May. The funds are deposited into a local bank account
that requires three signatures for withdrawal. A portion of the money collected is
submitted to the institution for restricted or unrestricted use, leaving in the account
only enough money for operating expenses.
